Elephant garlic is a plant from the onion family. It has a tall, solid, flowering stalk and broad, flat leaves. The flavor is milder than garlic, and much more pleasant to eat for some people than garlic when used raw as in salads. This Elephant garlic is grown locally in Japonica Environment Farm.
