Winners Farms

Winners Farms was purchased in 1977 by Ingeborg and Hans, a young couple who immigrated from Germany with the hopes of providing a lifestyle for their children embossed with core values like resilience and determination. The farm has been family-owned and operated since 1978. Through the years, Winners Farms has grown considerably from what it first was, with the original owners’ efforts and now their children. Three generations later, the farm is still striving and growing as a family operation.

On Winners Farms, they raise beef cattle on the property, located in the heart of the Fraser Valley. Their cattle are fed locally-grown forages, without the use of added hormones or steroids. Winners Farms is proud to offer its community local beef products, including steaks, roasts and a variety of other beef goods.

As a family-based company, they believe that high-quality food should be readily available to every family. And it is vital to the farm to be transparent to their customers with their practices, to be able to answer questions that customers may have about the beef that they are providing to their families.

At Winners Farms, the well-being of their animals is a foundational principle that they hold close. They follow a high value of standards and practices to ensure a high-quality product is achieved while continually improving animal health and welfare and environmental stewardship. They also genuinely believe in supporting local efforts and continuously strives to provide their community with the choice to choose local. The local initiative is so important, and the Winners Farms family feels incredibly lucky to be included in the unique opportunity to sell their goods on DirectFood.store.

The team at Winners Farms is excited to have a more intimate relationship with their customers by selling their beef products through more venues. They are passionate about telling their story, getting into the community and opening the door to conversations that consumers may not typically have with local producers.

In the future, Winners Farms hopes to be able to diversify its product line by providing specialty beef products like Wagyu and dry-aged options. We hope you enjoy the broad array of beef products they offer on our website. From rib, T-bone and porterhouse steaks to lean hamburger patties and all different cuts of roasts, Winners Farms is truly a testament of hard work, determination and resilience.
